Why does my breaker keep tripping?
Three usual suspects. The circuit is overloaded — too much plugged in for the wire size. Something on the circuit has a fault — a failing appliance, damaged wiring, moisture in a box. Can I just install a bigger breaker so it stops tripping?
No — and please don't. Breaker size is matched to the wire gauge in the wall.
