Charge up your property

Commercial EV Charging Stations in Gilbert, AZ

EV drivers pick where to shop, rent, and work with the charging map open. Stations in your lot pull them in — and keep tenants and employees from asking why you still don't have them.

AC/DC Electric installs commercial Level 2 EV charging stations across Gilbert, Chandler, Tempe, Mesa, Phoenix, and Scottsdale. We're a licensed, bonded, and insured Arizona electrical contractor, and we carry the whole electrical scope: load evaluation, panel work, conduit and trenching coordination, mounting, wiring, and inspection.

You'll know the full price before we start — a flat quote, not an estimate that grows. Call 480-695-4304 to talk through your property.

Watch for these

Signs your property is ready for chargers

  • Tenants keep asking about EV charging
  • Employees charge from 120V cords out a window
  • Competing properties already list chargers
  • Your fleet is switching to electric
  • A new build-out has parking spaces to assign
  • Prospects ask about charging on every tour

What Drives the Cost of a Commercial Install

Three things: capacity, distance, and count. Capacity is whether your electrical service can carry the new load or needs an upgrade first. Distance is how far power has to travel from the panel to the parking spaces — long conduit runs and trenching move the number more than the chargers themselves. Count is how many stations you install now and how many you rough in for later. We price all of it flat, up front. For background on what moves charger pricing, our EV charger cost guide is a good place to start.

Plan the Second Phase Now

The cheapest charger you'll ever add is the one you plan for while the trench is already open. If there's any chance you'll expand — more tenants driving EVs, a growing fleet — we can size the panel capacity and run oversized conduit now, so phase two becomes a wiring job instead of a construction project. A few minutes of planning during phase one can spare you a repeat of the whole site-work bill.

Why AC/DC Electric

Charger projects stall when contractors treat them like mystery boxes. We don't. We evaluate your service, tell you plainly what the building can support, and hand you one flat number for the full scope. Install work gets scheduled around your operation — nights and weekends included — so your lot isn't torn up during peak hours.

We install home EV chargers all over the Valley too, so the equipment and the code requirements are daily work for us, not a new adventure.

FAQ

Straight answers

How many chargers can my building support?

That depends on your existing electrical service and what it already feeds. Some buildings have spare capacity for several Level 2 stations; others need a panel or service upgrade before the first one goes in. We start every project with a load evaluation, so you get a real answer — and a real price — before you commit to anything.

Do commercial EV charger installs require permits?

Yes. Commercial charging installations are permitted electrical work, and they get inspected. We pull the permits, build to code, and meet the inspector. Skipping permits on a commercial property is a fast way to create problems with your insurer and your city, so we don't do unpermitted work.

Will installation shut down my parking lot or business?

Not if it's planned right. Most of the disruption comes from trenching and conduit runs, and we stage that work to close only the spaces we're actively working in. Because we operate around the clock, the loudest phases can run overnight or on weekends. Your customers keep parking; your doors stay open.

Should I install Level 2 or DC fast charging?

For workplaces, retail, and multifamily properties, Level 2 covers the real use case: cars that sit for an hour or more while their drivers shop, work, or live there. DC fast charging is highway-corridor equipment with far heavier electrical and cost requirements. For most Valley businesses, a bank of Level 2 stations is the right tool at a sane price.
